RECYCLED TIMBER

Recycled timber is specially re-milled and salvaged from historic sites around Australia’s old bridges, wharves, old factories, wool sheds, warehouses, power poles and so on.

Our Recycled Timber is naturally air dried and well seasoned being anywhere from 20 years up to 150+ years old. This ensures quality dense hard timber with minimal movement and shrinkage.

Recycled Timber may have impressive character and features indicative of a former life. These features may include bolt and nail holes, pippy effect, natural edges, and other rustic imperfections characteristic of aged recycled timber, which give a unique rustic appearance and patina.

External recycled timber pieces may contain higher rustic characteristics as the elements have weathered the timber for many years as opposed to interior warehouse timbers which may be more clean and tidy in appearance once re-milled.

We also stock and re-sell grey weathered wharf and bridge timbers and wool shed timbers for a unique industrial or Scandinavian look. These grey weathered timbers may contain large bolt holes, checkouts and other weathered rustic features. These are sold as is or can be re-milled. Grab your piece of history today!
